We’re thrilled to shine the spotlight on Babatunde Ogunjimi from Avidd Community Services of NJ, whose dedication and compassion have made him a beloved presence among the individuals he serves.
When colleagues were asked to describe Babatunde in three words, the answer came easily: dedicated, hardworking, and compassionate. His nomination paints a picture of someone who brings his best every single day: “Baba, as we call him, is a hard worker. He takes good care of all residents and they look forward to seeing him every day.”
That daily anticipation from residents speaks volumes about the relationships Baba has built. When asked what motivates him to excel at his job, his answer reflects this deep connection: “Helping the individuals for which I care.” Outside of work, Baba also has a passion for photography, capturing moments and perspectives through his lens.
For colleagues looking to succeed in direct support, Baba offers practical wisdom: “I advise my colleagues to consistently deliver on their roles in their respective lines of duty and concentrate on their specific task of taking care of our individual clients.” His advice emphasizes focus, consistency, and dedication to the core mission of supporting the individuals in their care.
