StationMD Now Available in California

StationMD provides 24/7 telehealth urgent medical care for eligible Regional Center clients. The service offers immediate access to clinicians trained in caring for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) to address urgent, non-emergency medical needs, reduce unnecessary emergency room visits, and support continuity of care.

What is StationMD?

StationMD is a telehealth company dedicated to serving individuals with I/DD. All StationMD clinicians are board-certified and specially trained to treat individuals with I/DD. Using StationMD helps prevent traumatic ER visits, unnecessary hospital admissions, and minimizes disruptions to activities, medication schedules, meals, work, and sleep.

About Enrollment

StationMD is an Alta California Region Center Vendorized Service. To enroll, use vendor number PA2762 and service code 117. Clients must maintain an established Primary Care Physician and have Medi-Cal or other health insurance. ACRC vendorization covers the monthly subscription fee, while medical visits are billed to the client’s insurance. The service is available to Self-Determination Program participants with individual authorization required for each client.
