StationMD is a telehealth company that leverages technology and on-staff board certified acute care clinicians, specially trained in the care of individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities (I/DD), to provide 24/7 virtual services to individuals with I/DD for their emergent and non-emergent needs. In doing so, StationMD provides individuals with I/DD with faster access to higher quality care while substantially reducing unnecessary medical costs.

Position Summary:

The Project Manager will organize, plan, and manage complex projects for the organization’s research, development, and contract implementation and management efforts. The Project Manager will be responsible for planning and overseeing projects to ensure they are completed in a timely fashion and within budget. The Project Manager will assist in planning and designating project resources, preparing budgets, monitoring progress, and keeping stakeholders informed the entire way–all within the confines of the company’s goals and vision.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Coordinates an interdepartmental team to complete an assigned project on time, to specifications, and with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Outlines the tasks involved in the project and delegates accordingly.
  • Conducts cost analysis, estimating expected costs for the project.
  • Prepares and implements a budget based on estimates.
  • Tracks project costs to meet budget.
  • Conducts risk assessments; reports identified risks to management; provides recommendations for mitigation of risk (including termination of the project if appropriate).
  • Addresses questions, concerns, and/or complaints throughout the project.
  • Provides project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress.
  • Utilizes industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution.
  • Monitors progress and adjusts as needed.
  • Measures project performance to identify areas for improvement.
  • Acts as a liaison between company, clients, and vendors.
  • Ensures compliance with federal, state, local, industry, contractual, and company regulations, standards, specifications, and best practices.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Bachelor’s degree in public health, business, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of related experience required.
  • Healthcare experience and experience with insurance highly desirable.
  • PMP, PgMP, CAPM, and/or comparable project management certification required. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline.
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate them when appropriate.
  • Thorough understanding of, or the ability to quickly learn about, the project or product being developed.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
